Welcome to the Whitlock Energy Collaboration Centre

"Engineering a Sustainable Future"

Welcome to the Whitlock Energy Collaboration Centre, one of Scotland's newest education, research and training resources dedicated to supporting the growth of the Renewable Energy Sector and its associated supply chain.

Our investment, thanks to the kind benevolence of $1 million by Robert M Buchan and the foresight of Colin Whitlock, reflects Carnegie College's commitment to developing the future skills and knowledge that will be required in order to secure long-term employment and sustainable economic growth.

The Whitlock Energy Collaboration Centre offers

The Centre, which has a local, national and international perspective, promotes sustainable energy solutions through people and design. Innovation in its widest sense will be encouraged and supported through all creative and problem solving activities. Entrepreneurship and enterprise are fundamental to our delivery of sustainable future, whilst our focus on people and design will ensure that technology does not become an end in itself but rather an enabler for sustainability.
