What is an
Entrepreneur-in-Residence?

“The entrepreneur-in-residence post was created by the college with the objective of working with Carnegie College students and staff to support them in building their business ideas and in turn encourage new local start-up companies. Carnegie is committed to enterprise and encouraging the pioneering spirit. These beliefs are at the heart of the Carnegie values, and over 100 years on they are still true. The entrepreneur-in-residence will work with the management team and a key role will be mentoring and sharing business experience and knowledge. The position is unpaid as Alex is keen to share his passion and enthusiasm for enterprise and is looking forward to hearing from you.”
