The Executive Group
Provide leadership and support across the organisation and manage the achievement of the strategic objectives.

The role of the Executive Group is to deliver the strategic vision of Carnegie College.  The group directs the activities of the management teams and reports to the Carnegie College Board of Management.  Members of the Executive Group are:

  • Professor Bill McIntosh: Principal
  • Janet McCauslin: Assistant Principal
  • Linda Greig: Director of Commercialisation and Business Development
  • David Neilson: Assistant Principal and Director of Finance

The Principal - Bill McIntosh, is The Chief Executive and Accounting Officer for Carnegie College.

He co-ordinates the work of the Board of Management and the Senior Management Team and leads strategic planning and organisation development.  He ensures that the College maintains a high profile in the local community and beyond and works closely with partners and other stakeholders.
Janet McCauslin, Assistant Principal.

She is responsible for leading and developing the academic portfolio.  The Heads of Schools report direct to her.

She has responsibility for strategies relating to learning / teaching, ICT and academic quality.
Linda Greig, Director of Commercialisation and Business Development, and Managing Director of Carnegie Enterprise - providing conference services, customised training and business consultancy.

She works with Carnegie College to commercialise services for business markets.  As such, she liaises with the three academic schools in the College to optimise commercial opportunities.
David Neilson, Assistant Principal and Director of Finance.

He has responsibility for Finance including revenue, capital and audit, estates issues including strategy, buildings, accommodation, overseeing the provision of health and safety and risk management.
