SVQ (Scottish Vocational Qualifications)

They are career based and as such you may well find that your employer will be keen for you to participate in an SVQ. SVQs are specially designed to provide you with the relevant skills and training you'll need for your new career and for many people they will offer an excellent route to a degree. The SVQ is generally work based and available at varying levels (1 to 5) to suit everyone, from beginners, to those with a high level of skills and responsibilities. They are usually offered in partnership between an employer and the College.
