Postgraduate & Professional Qualifications
At Carnegie College you can now study to degree level, and in certain areas of study this can be taken even further to postgraduate level. We currently offer a wide range of courses that can help you reach higher in your career or move into a managerial role. Professional qualifications generally lead to membership of professional bodies. Increasingly employers are looking for such qualifications and they can give you competitive advantage when seeking that career or promotion.

mature studentsIf you are in employment but feel that by developing your learning you can progress in your career you may want to consider the range of Professional Qualifications Carnegie College has to offer. It’s likely that you’ll want a part-time, flexible learning course - one that you can fit in with your job, your family and time for yourself (if you have this luxury!).

We support learners who work with many of the biggest and smallest companies in Central Scotland and study with us at Carnegie College. Most make this choice as a result of the high quality of professional development opportunities that we offer. Every applicant is offered support and guidance in making the right learning choices. Choices that can last for a few weeks or extend through many years of part-time study, right on to first degree and MBA level. We do our utmost to design the courses that give you as much flexibility as we can manage together. This means that you are quite independent if you want to be, or can attend all of the classes offered if you would rather. Professionals whose work takes them away from Central Scotland on a regular basis have kept in touch via email and phone can now, for the first time, keep up to date with work by using our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
