Carnegie College Awards Ceremony 27 May
Around 60 award winning students took to the stage of a packed Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline to collect the prizes awarded to them for their successes achieved during the college year 2009-10.

The prize winners had all been nominated by members of Carnegie staff for many reasons, some for showing great determination to succeed, some who have overcome health or other problems or for the support they themselves showed to fellow learners, and others for the high standard of their work and excellence in learning.

Joining the Principal, Professor Bill McIntosh , Assistant Principal, Mrs Janet McCauslin, and Chair of the College Board of Management Graham Bowstead, was guest speaker Bob Garmory, Business Development Manager of the Purvis Group and recently appointed President of Fife Chamber of Commerce.

Carnegie College is grateful to all the businesses and organisations who sponsored specific awards, and once again thank Keith and Stephen Macintosh of SRJ Windows from Oakley for their continued sponsorship of the Student of the Year Award, which this year was presented to business student Kain Ramsay.

Thanks to everyone who made the evening such a success.
