A Day in the Life
Carnegie College invited primary 7 pupils from 14 local primary schools to join us for a day, experiencing college life and having a taste of our workshop facilities. Following a welcome by the principal Professor Bill McIntosh and assistant principal Janet McCauslin, the pupils were taken on a tour of the Halbeath Campus. They then vistited the different workshops and tried out activities for themselves. Lunch was provided in the Skibo refectory.

web1-dayinlife.jpgPupils had to write a letter to Professor McIntosh telling him why they thought a day in the life of Carnegie College would help them, what they would like to see and try out, and how they would share their experiences with their classmates. The best letters were chosen by their headteachers and sent to the Principal. He chose which two pupils from each School would be the best 'Carnegie Champions' for their school.
