Carnegie Drama students to present a storm of a show
Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’ is this year’s annual showcase production for Carnegie’s Higher National Certificate (HNC) Acting and Performance students. The performances will take place on 14th and 15th February at the Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline, at 2pm and 7pm. Tickets are available from the Carnegie Hall Box Office.

Business School students put skills to use for charity
A group of six Carnegie Higher National students from the Andrew Carnegie Business School presented a cheque for £637 to the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA). Their course work required them to work as a team to manage, organise, market and successfully complete the aims of their chosen project.

A ‘Celebrating Success’ event was held at Carnegie’s New Row premises on Tuesday 10 January for the 'Recruitment Know How!' programme. Those attending the event included representatives from Fife Council, local and national employers and students who have recently completed the programme.

Carnegie College opens new Sustainable Technology Centre
Principal Geoff Fenlon and Bill Walker MSPCarnegie College’s latest training centre for sustainable construction and micro-renewable technologies was officially opened by Bill Walker MSP on Thursday 8 December.

The new Centre at the College’s Halbeath campus extends the training available for the renewables industry provided at the Whitlock Energy Collaboration Centre.

Working in partnership with industry leaders Ideal, Ubbink and the Scottish Passive House Centre, Carnegie's Sustainable Technology Centre is home to the latest technology and equipment, and will initially offer BPEC accredited courses for the installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic PV systems, solar thermal hot water systems, under-floor heating, ground and air source heat pumps and smart metering.
