Community Learning Centres

Why not learn something on your doorstep. You will be delighted to know that you can access learning in your local community. Carnegie College works in partnership with Fife Council, Arts and Theatres Trust Fife and other stakeholders to deliver courses via a network of 5 learning centres throughout West and Central Fife, providing you with the opportunity to take those first steps back into learning in small, friendly classes, in your own local community. All our Centres are Learndirect Scotland branded Centres. You can apply for and use ILA funding to support your learning and training.

Our Community Learning Centres are funded by Carnegie College , Fife Council and Scottish Executive projects. We offer vocational programmes where you can gain skills, knowledge and qualifications.

Courses may be free to individuals, including benefit claimants and job seekers and help with costs, such as travel expenses, is also available. Many centres can offer help with childcare.

Access Centres (Employability)

We have an enviable reputation for the delivery of innovative programmes for unemployed individuals.

Carnegie College is ready to step in to assist any employer facing the challenges of recruiting or reducing their staffing levels.

We support industry at the times of greatest change. Fast growth brings a high demand for the recruitment of high quality employees and rapid decline sadly causes redundancies that need to be tackled in an ethical and supportive way.
