Take Off With Carnegie College
Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries in the world and provides many exciting job opportunities. Carnegie College’s Andrew Carnegie Business School is now offering a Travel and Tourism National Qualification which includes Air Cabin Crew and Tour Representative training for students looking for employment in these areas.

Mary Fraser, Assistant Head of School, speaking about the course said ‘Customer care skills are central to a successful career in the travel industry and these are offered as part of our Travel and Tourism course. Units for Air Cabin Crew and Tour Representatives are now available as part of the course together with First Aid, languages, knowledge about local tourism and events organisation.’

‘This is an exciting new opportunity for our students who will learn how to prepare and give welcome and safety talks, guided tours, how to organise events and many more useful skills for the travel industry. The one year full-time course will give students the opportunity to progress to Higher National level or to find employment. Working abroad is a distinct possibility after this course.’
