Community Link students at Carnegie are well known for their fundraising activities. Only recently they presented the children’s ward at the local hospitals, Queen Margaret in Dunfermline and Victoria in Kirkcaldy, with home made ‘goody bags’ containing gifts such as crayons and books for children coming into hospital.

Last week the students presented Carnegie tutor Ron Page with money they have raised from making and selling papier mache piggy banks. Ron, who is a ‘puppy walker’ for the Guide Dogs Association, brought in Gemma, the black Labrador puppy he is training for a year, to meet the students and accept the money on behalf of the Guide Dogs Association.
